Otto Sauhaus is an independent graphic design studio run by Sarah Lamparter and Nastia Protsenko. In an informal atmosphere, we guide projects such as those shown here through every stage, from the initial idea through to the concept, design and production.

For us, every commission is a serious test of how we deploy our resources. When presenting the content, our decisions are guided by a focus on accuracy, narrative, and the creation of a point of connection for the viewer – or, indeed, the absence thereof, and so on. We consider the question of ‘why’ to be essential to what we do, and do not wish to fish our answers out of the pond of pleasantries where all images are colourful.

Our clients benefit from our experience with a wide variety of projects. We are familiar with every stage of the production process; we also keep an eye on matters that affect us indirectly when organising our work. We are graphic designers with a wide range of skills in print, animation and web media. Research is our most important tool. For specific tasks, we collaborate with programmers, image editors, printers or manufacturers with whom we have had the best experiences. We speak German, English and Russian.
