This is one of the books that prompted us to discuss the reprography of art within our industry – as we have done on many occasions – and to try something new.

This artist’s book shows works by Tatjana Doll, which engage with Isotypes by Otl Aicher and others. It was printed using an old Xerox machine that had been refurbished specifically for this project; it uses an oil-silicone fixing agent that faithfully reproduces the varnish (on canvas). The book is in black and white, visibly thread-sewn, and uses a single paper weight for both the cover and the interior.
